The year has been difficult to stay on schedule with a lot of shortage in man power. But good things are happening.
The Blueberry fields have finally been mowed and are ready for you to pick Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings, 7:30 to 11:00 am.
This is fig season! The time for figs is now. The bulk of the crop will be harvested within 2 weeks.
We have a bounty of certain crops that you may want to take advantage of at great prices. The sweet small type of tomatoes such as grape, cherry, and baby roma and regular roma. There are some types of peppers available in larger quantities .
Cantaloupes and watermelons are coming in good as well. Peaches are really good now !! If you like peaches this is your time.
We have some interesting organic fingerling potatoes. Rose Fin Apple, Red Thumb and Austrian Crescent. These varieties have unique flavor.
Please note on Saturday there will be a scheduled event ( the Battle on the Border 5 mile run ) that will require PYO pickers to follow parking instructions more clearly. You should see a lot of fleet feet Saturday!
