update March 23, 2014

Posted 3/23/2014 9:27pm by Sam Bellamy.

It continues to be a rather cold and wet spring. But we have much planted and hope the fields will dry off soon to do more direct sowing. The ground has been too cold for good germination. After this weeks cold spell we hope to be able to set out many transplants we have waiting for the warmer conditions. We are harvesting some greens and eagerly look forward to more crops coming in.

If you are a teacher or have kids in school you may be interested in our Spring farm tour. It will feature strawberries and more. See Spring farm tour information under the heading Spring Tours.

Check out the items in the garden center and bakery.
