Garden Center

The garden center has some unique aspects that set it apart from most garden centers. The most important is the passion that Kenny has about plants. After many years of working with potted plants, house plants, garden plants, yard plants, shrubs, trees and water gardens he has accumulated knowledge and experience that draws people to seek him out. Because he is involved in a broad scope of what garden centers can offer he readily relates to most people’s questions with thorough answers and solutions. He and his wife, Gray, and their staff are eager and willing to help people.

    Another unique feature are the huge trees growing inside the greenhouse. For most greenhouses this would be very difficult to manage but Kenny has kept the trees for many years and people have enjoyed the atmosphere it creates.

    Another unique feature are the cat and the fish. Kitty Kat is a long haired black cat that has claimed the garden center as it’s home. For some folks seeing Kitty Kat is a part of coming to the market. Many families and water garden enthusiasts are attracted to the fish. Fish are a great way to incorporate some real life into your familie's home and yard. All too often younger children are finding it difficult to relate to and learn from living creatures.

    Like many garden centers the display of colors, smells and textures are a joy to behold. Many people find it a real treat to bask in the beauty and freshness of such rich colors, fresh smells, and various forms of living, breathing glory ( a genuine credit to their Creator). Here at Indigo Farms during the spring months that experience is elevated beyond most garden centers.
