Welcome to Indigo Farms!
Pumpkin Patch Information!
For 2020 we are moving our Pumpkin Patch to a new location on the farm!
Due to the heavy rain during the recent tropical storms we are not able to have the patch in the field where we grew our pumpkins. This year it will be in a field at the NC/SC state line, across from the strawberry field.
On Saturday October 10th, and Saturday October 17th, from 10:00am - 2:00pm we will have the Pumpkin Patch and Mocha Cafe & BBQ will have food available on site for purchase. Additional activities are to be determined.
This year we will NOT HAVE HAYRIDES and will not have farm animals as they have retired closer to our homes.
FACE MASK REQUIREMENTS EFFECTIVE JUNE 26th
In compliance with the new North Carolina rule affective at 5:00pm on June 26th everyone over age 11 who visits our On-Farm Market (located in the Calabash, NC area) MUST wear a face covering or mask. This doesn't currently apply to the Myrtle Beach locations. Thanks for understanding and supporting local business.
SAVE YOUR LOCAL FARM!!!
HIGHWAY 31 or PICK-YOUR-OWN BLUEBERRIES???
This shows one of many numbered flags left on the farm as part of the Highway 31 or Carolina Bays Parkway Extension Study. You can see the Pick-Your-Own Blueberry Field behind it.
If you haven't already, PLEASE SIGN OUR PETITION!
You can also contact the Parkway Project by visiting their website and telling them that THIS MATTERS TO YOU!
These photos show both the type of highway the DOT is considering putting on top of where the farm is as well as the map of routes they are considering. The RED, Light GREEN, PURPLE, Light BLUE, ORANGE, and Dark BLUE paths would ALL DESTROY THIS FARM! As of typing this we are not sure which routes are being studied.
The Pick-Your-Own Blueberry Field has closed for the 2020 season as most of the berries are now gone. THANK YOU!!! to each of you who came out and picked this year!
