Welcome to Indigo Farms!
Our Crop Management Team is looking for self motivated individuals who enjoy the outdoors and working with their hands. This position involves a wide range of activities across all stages of crop development from soil preparation and planting to weed management and harvesting. Lifting heavy produce totes and farm equipment as well as working outdoors in many types of weather such as rain, wind, sun and our summer heat/humidity are required. Much of what we grow is organic and we incorporate organic methods whenever possible with the non-organic crops. If this sounds like you please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, number and a little bit about yourself.
FACE MASK REQUIREMENTS EFFECTIVE JUNE 26th
In compliance with the new North Carolina rule affective at 5:00pm on June 26th everyone over age 11 who visits our On-Farm Market (located in the Calabash, NC area) MUST wear a face covering or mask. This doesn't currently apply to the Myrtle Beach locations. Thanks for understanding and supporting local business.
PLEASE HELP SAVE YOUR LOCAL FARM!!!
HIGHWAY 31 or LOCALLY GROWN HEALTHY FOOD???
This shows one of many numbered flags left on the farm as part of the Highway 31 or Carolina Bays Parkway Extension Study. You can see the Pick-Your-Own Blueberry Field behind it.
If you haven't already, PLEASE SIGN OUR PETITION!
You can also contact the Parkway Project by visiting their website and telling them that THIS MATTERS TO YOU!
These photos show both the type of highway the DOT is considering putting on top of where the farm is as well as the map of routes they are considering. The RED, Light GREEN, PURPLE, Light BLUE, ORANGE, and Dark BLUE paths would ALL DESTROY THIS FARM! As of typing this we are not sure which routes are being studied.
